"The Empress" is a mixed media piece consisting of acrylic paint, gouache, cut paper, and  colored pencil. This piece is inspired by The Empress tarot card, and is represented almost like a Byzantine icon. The Empress is often considered an embodiment of "the divine feminine", but her wisdom is available to all genders. She represents creative fertility, self love and sensual pleasures.
