FAQs
Who makes the art for Guided Hand Studio?
That would be me, Irene Mudd! I design and illustrate all of the original art you see on this site, which I then get made into art prints, stickers, cards and more. All of the handmade items on the site are hand-crafted by me as well.
Do you offer wholesale purchasing?
I do offer wholesale purchasing on the following products: Tarot decks and guidebooks, stickers, cards and prints*. I do not offer wholesale on handmade items at this time as I am not able to recoup my labor costs at wholesale prices. If you are interested in making a wholesale purchase please contact me at guidedhand.shop@gmail.com.
*If you would like to buy prints wholesale, I cannot offer my illuminated prints. I embellish my prints by hand and due to the time and labor this takes, I can only offer plain prints for wholesale at this time.
Returns & Exchanges Policy:
Due to the tiny scale of my business, I am unable to offer returns or exchanges on my items.
That said, if your order arrives damaged or defective for some reason, please contact me at guidedhand.shop@gmail.com within 30 days of your parcel’s arrival, and I will either refund or replace your order depending on the circumstances.
Absolutely no returns or exchanges on custom orders.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders are shipped within 1-3 days after the order is placed, with the exception of Pre-Order and Made-to-Order listings. These listings will provide specific processing/shipping times in the product description. Customers have the option of using USPS, UPS or FedEx to ship, but USPS is by far the most popular as it is usually the cheapest option.
Depending on the weight/size/shipping speed of your order, there are a few different options:
Sticker & Card Shipping: I offer free domestic (US) shipping for stickers and cards sent via postage mail! Be advised that unless you select First Class or Priority Mail shipping for stickers or cards, your order will NOT include a tracking number. Most postage mail arrives within a week or sooner after being shipped, but on occasion it does take a little longer to arrive.
First Class: Packages that weigh 13 oz or less will ship First Class, which is the most cost-effective or “economy” shipping option offered by USPS. Items shipped First Class typically arrive within a week, but can take up to 2 weeks.
Priority Mail: Orders sent via Priority Mail arrive much quicker, typically within 3 days of shipping. Priority Mail includes a tracking number as well. If you need your order ASAP, Priority Mail Express is available.
International Shipping: Orders shipping outside the US may be shipped via First Class or Priority Mail. Bear in mind that international orders can take much longer to arrive, often because they get held up in customs. Tracking is available but isn’t always updated promptly, so please be patient while awaiting your package.
Will I have to pay customs/duties/VAT fees?
Depending on the country you’re shipping to, you may be liable to pay additional customs fees or VAT charges for your package.
It is up to you to double check this information before purchasing from Guided Hand Studio, and I am not responsible for any additional charges your order may incur.
I think my item might be lost or stolen, what do I do?
Guided Hand Studio is not responsible for refunding lost or stolen packages—once I drop your order at the post office, it is out of my control.
That said, the vast majority of packages that are assumed to be lost/stolen are often just delayed or delivered to the wrong address.
I recommend the following steps (before contacting me) if you think your package is lost or stolen:
1. Give your package at least a week and a half to arrive. Shipping processing times are often slower due to holiday season traffic or postal worker shortages.
2. Check in with neighbors, roommates or office coworkers to see if your package was mis-delivered or taken by accident.
3. Go to your local Post Office branch with any pertinent information (Tracking number, etc.) and see if your package is being held for some reason.
If you strike out after trying all these, contact me at guidedhand.shop@gmail.com and we can work out a solution!
Do you take commissions for custom art or products?
I do take commissions and customs occasionally, but not often, especially during the holiday shopping season. Please inquire at guidedhand.shop@gmail.com
Can I get a tattoo of your art?
I love tattoos and have several myself, so it’s very flattering to me when people want my art on their body! So the short answer is yes, but I do ask that you contact me to get a tattoo ticket so I can be paid for my work.*
*Many tattoo artists require tattoo tickets from the original artists when using other artist’s work.
