This print is derived from an original mixed media piece consisting of fabric, acrylic paint, gouache, cut paper, and colored pencil. The radial design references medieval shields, using the motif of a lion, a symbol of bravery, power and strength. The center symbol is a sigil (created by me), which is essentially a manifestation spell in image form.

The sigil was charged with intentions of courage, strength and resilience.
