I love creating custom portraits of your beloved animal babies! I take pride in capturing their likeness, personality, quirks and all! Pet portraits are a wonderful way to remember your animals after they're gone, or to just honor them every day. They make excellent gifts for anyone who has a pet, especially hard-to-shop-for family members and friends.

To create your pet portrait, I use a mix of watercolor and gouache paint on paper. I typically add embroidery on top to add dimension and texture to the finished piece. The finished painting is then cut out and mounted on canvas, making it hang-ready!

I am more than willing to adjust the design, color palate, etc. to suit your preferences. Please put any specifications, such as colors, patterns and whether to integrate the pet’s name, in a comment when purchasing, or email me at guidedhand.shop@gmail.com 

HOW TO ORDER:

1. Select the size you would like from the drop down menu on the product page, add any additional preferences in the notes section on the checkout page, and finish the order. 

2. After you’ve purchased your custom order, please email high quality photos of your pet to me-- the sharper the better, natural lighting preferred. If you would like your portrait to resemble the examples, please send pictures that are straight-on or 3/4 view of your pet’s face. I am willing to do full body portraits as well. Multiple photos is ideal so we have some options to choose from.

Please do not send blurry or dark photos— the better a picture you provide, the better portrait I can create!

3. It will take me about a week to finish smaller size paintings, and 2-3 weeks for larger paintings. If you wish me to embroider the paintings, this may take longer. If you have a clear deadline, let me know and I will do my best to get it to you in time. I will send you a photo of my sketch before I start painting, and a final photo before sending it to you. Just let me know if any adjustments need to be made and I’m happy to accommodate.

The finished work will be sent carefully wrapped and packaged, and mailed via USPS.
